I know, it has been a while. Sorry about that. In the last 6 weeks I have moved states, started a new job, and just got back from two weeks of this:
Hiking the Great Wall of China
Viewing history unearthed
Cruising the Li River
Floating down the Dragon River

Shopping at Vickie…shoes!
Helping these two say goodbye to the crazy beautiful Hong Kong skyline
I am a little tired but filled with a lot of awe and gratitude for both surviving the last two months and for the very blessed life I get to lead. I have plenty of things I could (and have been meaning to) post about. I will try and get my act together very soon but I just wanted to post and see if anyone was still reading or not. I wouldn’t blame you if you weren’t…but I hope you still are.
Oh, I’m reading!
And I’m very jealous of your China trip. Definitely on my list of things to do.
And the salesman at Vickie’s looks very pleased to be in your picture.
Can’t wait to see your next creation, welcome back!
Wish I was there with you. Sigh. What a spectacular trip.
Still reading! How many pair of shoes did you buy?

Is that the Built By Wendy shirt pattern you are wearing in your photo on the Li River? Best clothing-in-action shot EVER.
(wow, i am such a fabric nerd)
Wow! What an adventure. Can’t wait to hear more of what you’ve been up to!
Hmmm–China with 3 small children…it’s time for an adventure. I can’t wait to hear more about yours. I’ve got a little wanderlust.
What a fun blog post! You two are so much fun to discover exciting places with. I am so glad your trip was amazing. AND how amazing was it that you found your way to Hong Kong from Shenzhen all by yourselves! You must be seasoned travelers with very good directions!
Oh wow, we are headed to China in a couple of weeks. That is if we can get into the country. Seems they are quarantining allot of Americans as they enter into the country if anyone is sick on the plane. I am excited to go and see my daughter and see all that she has been doing over the past year. However this H1N1 stuff and being detained is making me nervous. Loved your China pictures.
Still reading. So glad you are back to blogging so we can keep up with your excitement. We miss you madly!
I love your blog Erin! So happy for your trip to China and Hong Kong! Looks like a blast!
Looks like it was an exciting trip!
I just read the comment you left on my blog….the sweater/shrug pattern can be found in Knit.1 magazine Fall/Winter 2008. I hope you can join the KAL.
Hi! Fan was quick and easy enough! I have had my eyes on Carp too… and have done a few starts on it too, but have never felt good about my yarn choices. But I will knit it one day. I hope yours is coming alone just fine!
Sounds wonderful!
